Q: Does Standard Time have project planning and resource assignments?
A: Yes, those are the basics of workforce planning software, and Standard Time supports them.  You can plan multiple projects as peers, and assign employees and workgroups to project tasks.  The image below shows the results of those resource assignments.  The graphical chart shows assignments over weeks.

Q: Do you have a timesheet to collect actual work hours?
A: Yes, projects and tasks for each employee in the workforce shows up in his/her timesheet.  They see only the items they have been assigned to.  The actual hours are posted against projects.

Q: Can I find resources with specific skill sets and availability?
A: Yes, but there's more than meets the eye.  Searching for individuals in a sea of resources doesn't help.  People work in teams, not as individuals.  So, you really must search for teams with certain skills.  At the time of this writing in 2008, this search requires a custom report to do the job.  We can create one for you, or show you how.
