Welcome to Standard Time, our web based project management
and timesheet software product. This series of questions
and answers is designed to help you understand our offering.
Please feel free to contact our sales
department and download a copy of
Standard Time.
Q: What project management features do you offer?
A: Standard Time offers the ability to create a full project
hierarchy with project breakdowns and tasks. Tasks can be
assigned to resources or groups. Many project management
fields are tracked while employees enter actual hours into their web
based timesheet.
Q: How about resource allocation?
A: The Windows version of Standard Time offers a resource
allocation chart with a graphical representation of task
assignments. There's even a textual spreadsheet grid with the
same data. The web based project management is limited to
creating and assigning tasks, viewing project management values, and
a timesheet. The higher-level features are on the Windows
version.
Q: Can I see the history of my projects?
A: Yes. Commonly known as a burn-down chart, Standard
Time shows the remaining hours for any given project. The
image below is an example.
More Q & A below...

Q: Can I see how much my projects cost?
A: Standard Time tracks 8 project cost values related to
internal salary and external client amounts. These values are
readily available to view in the software and on reports.
Q: How tightly is the timesheet integrated?
A: The Standard Time timesheet is a big part of the project
management equation. It supplies the actual work hours to the
project tasks. Each project and task assigned to an employee
is shown in his/her timesheet. They only see items relevant to
them - whether they use the Windows or web based software.
Q: What project management fields do you support?
A: Duration, Actual Work, Remaining Work, Percent Complete,
Gantt, Completed, Costing Fields, User Assignment, etc.
We hope this has helped answer a few questions about
our web-based project management system.
