Task Scheduling within Standard Time®
Standard Time allows you to schedule tasks for each employee by setting
a start date, due date, and a reminder date. Tasks without a starting
date are assumed to start whenever the employee has the time or inclination
to perform them. The dialog below shows the fields available to you to
perform task scheduling.
Tasks can be assigned to a single employee or an entire group. When any
employee logs time to a task, that time is available for reporting. If
multiple employees log time, then all the time for all employees is displayed
in reports.
Simple task filtering allows managers or employees to view all tasks
that are due within 7, 14, 30, 60, 90 days. A task can also be rescheduled
for a later date with a single menu item.
Standard Time’s scheduling program feature also contains a Gantt
chart that displays tasks in a graphical form. How does the scheduling
program feature work? Tasks with a starting date are displayed at those
dates, which tasks with no starting date are displayed at today's date.
These tasks are assumed to start at any time.
