Task Management Features in Standard Time
What is Standard Time?
Standard Time is a task management software product for employee time-tracking and task management. Standard Time offers several unique task-tracking capabilities to help project teams and individuals manage time. Features are discussed in detail below.

Employee Task Management
Project tasks can be created for each employee. A project hierarchy with projects, subprojects, and tasks may be created. Each task may be assigned to an employee or an entire group.
Forecast duration and cost
Each task contains a forecasted duration, actual work, remaining work, and percent complete. These fields work with the project costing fields to let you know how much a project will cost, and how much you have spent so far.
Task Scheduling
Each task contains a starting date, due date, and reminder date. This lets you receive a reminder shortly before the task is due.
Task allocation
As you create project tasks for employees, you can review them graphically with a Gantt chart, and resource allocation chart. The resource allocation chart shows you yellow bars for correctly allocated time, red bars for over-allocated time, and blue bars for under allocated time.
Synchronize with handhelds
Project task that are marked as Quick Tasks will be synchronized with Palm and Pocket PC handhelds. This allows you to track time on PDA devices.
Project Hierarchy
A full hierarchy of projects, subprojects, and tasks allows you to organize tasks. Subprojects may be organized with an infinite depth.
Optionally works with QuickBooks and Microsoft Project
Standard Time optionally integrates with QuickBooks so that you can track time to your client jobs, then send the data to the QuickBooks Timesheet to pay employees and bill clients. Tasks from Microsoft Project can optionally be brought into Standard Time.
