Standard Time® now uses an automated connection to QuickBooks instead of IIF files. See Tools, QuickBooks for integration with QB.

This is a lot more than a time tracker, but that is still its primary purpose. QuickBooks has the ability to import timer records for payroll and client billing. The format is an IIF file. This timesheet produces those IIF Timer files, although it also talks directly to QuickBooks to bypass IIF files entirely. It does this by collecting all the time records from all employees. After importing to QuickBooks, you can create a client invoice for the Customer:Job or pay employees. Feel free to download a copy.

The focal point of this product is the employee timesheet. There, employees track time to QuickBooks Customer:Jobs and Service Items. Each Job and Item may be assigned to different employees. This prevents clutter in the timesheet. Timesheet entries are exported to QuickBooks using the File, Export menu.

Time Off
In addition to QuickBooks time tracker features, we track employee vacation, sick, personal, and other time off. Time Off hours are displayed in the timesheet under the normal project time.
