Standard Time can be a simple replacement for Microsoft Project software. It provides simplified project planning capabilities, plus a Gantt chart and resource allocation chart. In addition to the project planning features, Standard Time integrates a timesheet and time tracking software in one bundle. The result is a complete project planning and project accounting system. Project planning is performed by creating project tasks. Project tasks may be assigned to resources, and displayed using an optional Gantt chart. Since tasks are optionally assigned starting and due dates, a resource allocation chart shows the amount of time allocated to a given resource. You can use use this to perform resource leveling.

Resource allocation involves choosing a project, date range, and number of hours worked per day. A graph shows the time allocated over the time period.

Works with Microsoft Project
Standard Time works with Microsoft Project in that tasks may be tracked using the time tracking software. The time logged is sent back to the original MPP files or Project server to be updated.
