Employee estimating
Project and task rates can be set independently for each employee. That means each employee can bill at a different rate for each project.

Category estimating
Another alternative is to use categories for project estimating. This is different than employee rates. In this mode, Standard Time uses the "type" of work for project rates. And again, the estimations are based on rates times estimated hours.

Project rollups
Project estimation is the results of rolling up all task estimations into the project. Each task in Standard Time will have its own estimation, based either on employee or category rates. The total of those is the project estimation.

Estimates verses actual
