Online Project Collaboration - Standard Time®
Standard Time
Every day your teams work to satisfy customer needs, build internal
systems, and keep the company running. Every month, executives
check the status of those projects, making sure they stay on track.
A few missteps, and your company is in trouble. For all that
project work, you need a good online project collaboration system. One
that can show the current status of every project, and allow you to
direct them. Feel free to download a copy
now.
What does online mean?
To some it means an entry-level Windows app. To others, a
complex Web-based app. To us, online project collaboration
means project tracking, timesheet, time off tracking, expenses, and
client billing - all on both Web and Windows. The features are
simple to understand, and easy to put to work for your organization.
You may even contact us to set up a live
demo to see the product.

Online Project Collaboration
Project Collaboration
Standard Time allows you to create projects that your employees can
collaborate on. Since all users share a common database,
projects may be shared across teams and groups. Some projects
may only apply to a single user, while others apply to a team of
employees or the entire organization. Employees may also be
assigned to individual tasks. Those tasks will show up on
their timesheet, where they can track actual hours toward them.
Employee Timesheet
Project tasks show up on employee timesheets. They normally
enter hours against those tasks, and optionally submit their
timesheet for approval. Managers can check weekly timesheets
for accuracy and detail. Timesheet approval is optional, and
managers can participate in a multi-level approval process.
Timesheets can even be locked down to prevent changes.
Paid Time Off (PTO) Tracking
In addition to project collaboration and timesheets, Standard Time
offers PTO tracking. This lets employees request time off for
vacation, sick, personal, and any other reason they desire. All
time off is shown in the timesheet along with project hours.
This helps employees maintain a 40-hour work week.
Resource Assignments and Allocation
Standard Time goes even deeper with project collaboration features.
But we don't want you to think the product is one of those
million-dollar implementations. It is not. Standard Time
can track resource assignments to project tasks, and show when those
resources are allocated to work. You see weekly bars showing
the number of hours each employee is expected to perform for each
project. Over-allocated weeks are red. Under-allocated
weeks are yellow, and normal work weeks are blue.
