The image above shows the Standard Time integration wizard for MS Project.  You can choose to integrate with an MPP file or with Microsoft Project Server.  When you do, Standard Time will copy all the tasks from Microsoft Project into its own database.  You will see those tasks show up in the timesheet where you can track time to them.

Bidirectional synchronization
After Standard Time brings the Microsoft Project tasks into the database, tasks show up on the timesheet.  That lets you track time to them.  Each employee sees only the projects and tasks they are assigned to.  That reduces clutter.  Tracking time to tasks allow Standard Time to send actual work back to Microsoft Project to update the schedule.  The Actual Work column in Project will show the time logged in Standard Time.  And, the percent complete will show the completion amount.

Project fields in Standard Time
Standard Time is more than just a timesheet for MS Project.  It also shows Duration, Actual Work, Percent Complete, and many other project management fields.  You can even create native Standard Time projects independently of MS Project.  All the same fields will be available to you.  So, whether you integrate with MS Project, or create your own native Standard Time projects, you get the same functionality - great project management with actual work from a timesheet.
