1. Install the Windows version of Standard Time
Standard Time for Windows is required to administer the web-based version. If you have already installed the Windows version you may skip this step.
You can download the latest version of Standard Time for Windows from this link: http://www.stdtime.com/download/stime.zip (Approximate size: 20 MB).
It is not necessary, and not recommended that you install the Windows version on your web or database servers. You can install Standard Time onto a client machine, and administer the database from there. The next step will show you how to set up the database for access by multiple users.
IMPORTANT: If you are evaluating Standard Time, you will need a special temporary license code to enable multiple users. You can obtain a free temporary code from our sales department.
IMPORTANT: After installing Standard Time for Windows, you must launch the program at least once to make sure your database is updated.
Standard Time for Windows will be used to administer these areas:
1) Users, and user rights
2) Projects
3) Subsystems
4) Project Tasks
5) Categories
6) Quick Tasks
7) Project Types
