How to set up Standard Time for use with Microsoft Project

Standard Time integrates with Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project MPP files.  You must be using Microsoft Project 2000 or greater to integrate with Standard Time.

1. Set up Microsoft Project
   Resource names used in Microsoft Project must match user names in Standard Time.  If you are using Standard Time with multiple users you must match these names.  Additionally, if you are integrating with Microsoft Project MPP files, you must set the Duration to Hours in the Options dialog.

2. Project Integration Wizard
   Choose Tools, Projects, Microsoft Project Integration and run the Project Integration Wizard to integrate a Standard Time project with a Microsoft Project plan.

3. Track time to project tasks
   As you track time to tasks shown in the Project Tasks view, Microsoft Project will be updated with the time worked, time remaining, and the % complete.
