The biggest advantage of the Standard Time timesheet is its ease of use.  Employees can simply enter time into daily slots.  Clients include a simple browser where no client software is installed onto the employee machine, or a rich Windows client.

Managers have complete control over the projects and tasks that are shown in the Standard Time timesheet.  Managers can show or hide tasks, or entire projects.  This makes customizable employee timesheets a pleasant reality.

All time that is entered into timesheet tasks silently rolls up to the subsystem and project level for management to evaluate.  This means that actual time and project costs add up to the project level so you can evaluate total project costs and earned value of actual work.

Standard Time actually offers several ways to track time outside of the timesheet.  You can start and stop a timer numerous ways, enter ad hoc time to a task, or choose preset menus to add time worked.  Each of these methods contribute to the actuals available at the project level.

Employee timesheets may be
submitted, approved, and locked
