Export a QuickBooks IIF List file
Before you can integrate Standard Time with QuickBooks, you must first export a List file from QuickBooks. The steps below describe this process.
1) First make sure you are using QuickBooks Pro.
2) Make sure you have installed the QuickBooks Timer option. The Timer option is only available in QuickBooks Pro, not QuickBooks Standard.
3) From within QuickBooks, mark any Customer:Jobs or Service items that you don't use inactive. This will prevent them from going to Standard Time, and will reduce the clutter you see.
4) From within QuickBooks, choose File, Timer, Export Lists for Timer. The dialog below will be displayed.

5) Click OK to export the List file. Standard Time will need this List file to obtain the list to Customer:Job, clients, and Service Items. Save the List file in a known directory where you can access it from Standard Time. If you have multiple people using Standard Time, they can each access the same file. Place the file on a network drive so that all employees can access if from within Standard Time.
