Importing a Timer file into QuickBooks

After Standard Time creates the Timer file, you must import it into QuickBooks.

Before importing Standard Time files, consider making a backup of your QuickBooks Company file.


1) From within QuickBooks, choose File, Timer, Import Activities from Timer.  The following dialog appears to explain the operation in more detail.






2) Click OK to import the file.  The Import (File Open) dialog appears to allow you to find the Timer file.

3) Locate the Timer file that was created by Standard Time, and click Open to import it.

4) QuickBooks display the following view to indicate that it has successfully imported the file.





5) Click View Report to view the imported data.






6) Choose Customers, Time Tracking, Use Weekly Timesheet to display time data.
