Standard Time offers a simple wizard to guide you step by step through the process of integrating with Microsoft Project.
1) From within Standard Time, choose Tools, Projects. The dialog below is shown.

2) Click on a project you wish to integrate with Microsoft Project. You may choose to create a new project before proceeding.
3) Click Microsoft Project Integration, and choose Project Integration Wizard. The dialog below is shown.

4) Follow the steps through the wizard. The wizard will allow you to choose between Microsoft Project Server and MPP files. Project Server is greatly preferred because it uses a SQL Server database to hold all tasks. This database allows many users to share the same data, while MPP files are disk file based, and are not recommended for sharing.
When you complete the wizard, the project tasks from the Microsoft Project plan will be displayed in the Project Tasks view within Standard Time. This allows you to track time to them in many different ways, including using Standard Time for the Web, Standard Time for Palm OS, Standard Time for Pocket PC, and Standard Time for Windows.
Choose View, Refresh Project Tasks whenever you wish to update Standard Time with any changes you have made to the Microsoft Project plan.
The Project Integration wizard offers the opportunity to defer Microsoft Project updates until the Refresh Project Tasks menu item is chosen. This means that only one person needs to have a direct link to Microsoft Project. All other users will track time within Standard Time, but will not actually update the project plan. The project plan will only be updated with View, Refresh Project Tasks is chosen. Users of Standard Time for the Web should use this deferred option.
